Whitening

White teeth are attractive and many common daily activities can darken them. Things such as: drinking tea and coffee, eating certain foods, smoking, and/or some medications all contribute to the darkening or yellowing of teeth. Whitening your teeth can be done through OTC (over-the-counter) products found in your drug store but they are limited, slower, and the effects do not last as long. Getting your teeth whitened at a dental office is the only way to receive fast and effective results that last longer.

Our office offers three types of whitening: Disposable strips, custom trays, and in-office whitening services. Each varies in type, cost, and result time.

Before starting any whitening procedure it is recommended that teeth are cleaned and examined by a dentist. This ensures the removal of any superficial stains on teeth and plaque accumulation in between teeth that could interfere with bleaching effectiveness.
